Do I have to be in Washington?
You don’t need to be in Washington, or even in the United States, to work with us! In fact, over 95% of our clients are located outside the Washington area. Our mail-order product photography service gives you a professional solution no matter your location.
How long will it take to get my project finished?
How does that saying go “Time is Money” we do our best to get your project done in a timely fashion. Most projects can be completed in about a week after we receive you products. There are time when it may take a bit longer due to a high volume of product in the studio. If you have a large project it may require more time to complete. Please contact us and we will confirm your production time.
How do I get my finished images?
All images are delivered via our private image hosting server. Once your project is finished, you will receive a unique link and password. You will be able to log in to our server, proof your images and instantly download them. We will store your images on our server for a month at no additional charge.
*Additional server storage can be purchased, please ask your sales representative for more information.
Do I get my products back?
We can ship the products back or discard them if you prefer. The cost of return shipping can be charged to your credit card on file or you may provide a return shipping label if you prefer.
What license do I get with my images?
Upon final delivery, the photographs become licensed to your company for use on a royalty-free basis. This means you are free to use the photographs in any of your publications as many times as you like, with as wide a distribution as you like, without ever having to pay us royalties for their use. We allow the use of these photos in all forms of media including print advertising, packaging, web, television, etc. We do retain the copyrights for delivered photos and the photographs may not be re-sold to any third party without prior written permission.
(This of course is subject to change depending on the assignment)
What happens if I want a re-shoot?
We want you to have the best experience possible! If we’ve made a mistake we will gladly re-shoot or edit the photos to make them right, no charge.
Re-shoots for artistic or editorial reasons, or resulting from client error or omission will be quoted at a discounted rate.
I have a very large product. Can you shoot it?
Of course we can.
Our production studio features a roll-up warehouse door to accommodate large products and shipments via pallet*. Products larger than 2 feet on the longest side are subject to an additional charge relative to the size of the product. If you’ll be sending unusually large or heavy products, please contact us first.
* While we do have a roll-up door, we do not have a loading dock or fork lift. Ensure pallet shipments are delivered via truck with lift gate.
I have some product ready now and will have more later. Can I get the lower price?
We are set up on a per project basis. Our prices go down with a larger order because it takes us less time per photo to do one large project than it does to shoot several smaller projects.
Do you charge per product or per image?
We charge per image. To explain a bit more you send us five backpacks and want a front, back and side image of the pack. That would be 15 images, giving you the 10-20 image discount.
How do I pay for my job?
We are set up to take all major credit cards and paypal. Project less than $300 will be charged in full when your order is confirmed. All projects over $300 will be charged 50% down, the remainder to be charged once your project is complete. We do except checks and money orders made payable to Jesse Coble Studios.
*all checks and money orders must clear before job will start, this could take up to seven extra days.
